Do you know if United Prosperity is still in business? I have sent several emails and the emails are returned with the note that the mailbox is full. I have not been fully repaid and I'm wondering if other individuals are in the same situation. If you know anything, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
« You know what ? I'm happy... » you, Bhalchander (which means ?), consider me as your friend ! I hope we'll build something with your beloved country ; you live in America, but your mind is also (and forever ?) in Fatherland. (Did you read Olivier Danino, and other true Indianists ?)
I purchased a gift certificate for myself just to se what they look like, the ease of receiving and then lending the certificate, etc. I did this at 7:30 this morning, and I still haven't received the certificate notification via email.
How long does it take? Is there a glitch with the certificates? Please advise asap as I'd like to start distributing them in hopes that others (especialy my kids) will pick up on the idea and start giving them as well.
Yes I worked with an organization in Hyderabad South India in 1986 for 6 months. I learned enough Hindi to do the marketing and very much enjoyed my time there. I also traveled by train from Madras to Calcutta to Darjeeling and Kalimpong. One day I hope to return with at least some of my family.
I have tried to find the profile on a lender and when I search his name (Derrick) on the .ning. page, it comes up blank. Doesn't everyone who registers and lends automatically become a member here in .ning.???
I've looked around a little but am having a little difficulty actually making a guarantee. When I go to "portfolio" it asks me to log in but my UP login doesn't work. I didn't want to use a Yahoo login etc. without know why it needs it and where it takes me. Is in a FAQ somewhere? I'm still getting familiar with the site.
Question: What happens if a guarantee is not fully funded by the expiry date? If 90% is committed, will the entrepeneur get 90% of the loan requested?
Comment: From what I can gather, a fiscal sponsorashipo arrangement will "cost" 10% of the donation, and I think that they are only interested in being involved with organizations which generate larger amounts of $$$$. Right now I suspect that we Canadians at UP are not numerous. Maybe when there are more of us, we can form a Canadian chapter and then get our own tax #. For now I think it may be best to leave things as they are. If you know of any other Canadians who want to work on this, I will be happy to help. Feel free to pass on my contact info.
